Check Out This New Anti-Rat Flooring From Hammer Technologies

Check Out This New Anti-Rat Flooring From Hammer Technologies
Anti-Rat Flooring From Hammer Technologies
Every year an incredible amount of damage is done to humans property by rats and at the moment there is very little we can do to prevent it. A paper from 2009 demonstrated a fascinating fact. Even though we have been trapping and repelling rats for many years there is still in the region of $9 billion worth of damage to property every year. This figure applies to North America alone and so the current figure for the whole world will be dramatically higher than this.

Hammer Technologies have taken this problem seriously. They have developed a new anti-rat flooring device. It is capable of creating a perimeter around your property which the rats will not pass. It will also notify you if a rat attempts to cross the perimeter.

This new product has a patent pending on it and is totally unique.  The rats may be trying to get to food, or shelter which is the reason they may be passing through your garage or outbuildings. They often do plenty of damage along the way, chomping on fabrics, plastics and consumables. If they damage your production machinery or your car you may be out of pocket for some time as a result. Insurance may not cover you and so you may need to cover the costs of damage yourself. Don't forget you may also need to hire a car or find another way of meeting your deadlines.

Alternatively you could try to rat-proof your garage or factory but this could take a very long time and cost a lot of money. Even having put in so much time and effort you can be sure that if you miss just one hole, the rats will find it. Don't waste your money trying; invest in Hammer Technologies' new device instead.

Keep Rats Out Of Your Barn

Rats in the barn can be a real nuisance. They chew wires in tractors, leave droppings everywhere and contaminate and ruin animal feed. What to do? Poisoning can reduce their numbers. However, you might not want to put poison down where your cats, dogs and chickens roam free as it will hurt them too if they eat it.

Trapping can work well but you've only got to miss one rat for the problem to continue. You could try blocking up all the holes in the barn but you might find it rather challenging and a large one could have hundreds. Some of them could be totally inaccessible making the process pointless. If you miss just one hole the rats are bound to find it. If you do decide to block the holes make sure you use very hard material such as concrete, cement, brick, stone or metal.

In response to this problem Hammer Technologies developed a new type of rat deterrent. It consists of a special floor which repels rats very effectively. This can be used in the perimeter around the edge of a building to keep the rats at bay.

Rat's teeth don't stop growing throughout their lives. This is the reason for them endlessly chewing on wires, tubes and other materials to sharpen them and grind down. The other reason that's chew is to find food and shelter. They open up holes to let themselves into areas and create runs. They also chew their way into food bins to find food, often spoiling the food in the process.

Droppings, urine and oily marks are clues as to the location of the rat's runs. This can be a good place to start when you are blocking up the holes. Make sure doors fit in the frames.

A Brand New Solution To Prevent Rat Infestation

Rat infestation can cause some serious problems in domestic, commercial, residential and industrial settings. The problems that rats can bring include;
  • Soiling. Contamination with urine, spit and faeces can cause problems. It can result in the transmission of 35 different diseases which have been known to affect humans.
  • Chewing. The rat's teeth grow throughout it's life and need to be worn down. This leads them to cause damage to engines and other machinery by chewing the wires.
  • Fires. Chewing through high-voltage power cables had been known to result in fires from sparking.
  • Flooding. Biting water pipes and tubing can cause flooding of your home or facility.
  • Down-time. Loss of use of your equipment could cost your business a fortune against which you may not be insured.
Humans have used traps, repellents and nasty poisons against the little rodents for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Sometimes they do the trick but the technique only needs to be ineffective against one rat for it to fail. A single rat can cause many thousands of pounds worth of damage in only a short space of time.

Mercifully Hammer Technologies have a great new solution in the form of rat-repellent flooring. This protects your expensive possessions and equipment. It creates an impassible perimeter around the edge of your building. Click the link above to visit their website.

Rats Vs. Humans

Rats Vs. Humans
Rats Vs. Humans
Rats have lived in very close proximity to people for thousands of years and, in fact, have followed them around the globe. Rats have taken advantage of humans' dwellings for warmth and have eaten the crumbs that have fallen from their tables. This has led them to be able to inhabit areas that would normally have been uninhabitable for them. The relationship has not always been harmonious.  This is partly because rats also carry and spread well over thirty human diseases in their urine, saliva and faeces. As well as this they also cause a dramatic amount of damage to people's property by chewing wires, containers and tubing. As well as this they often spoil spoil food and stock.

Sometimes when they chew they are looking for food. At other times, particularly when they chew wiring, they are wearing away their teeth. These grow continuously throughout their lives. Hammer Technologies new rat repellent flooring should help put an end to this problem.

Damage to an individual car can be in the region of £400 on average, peaking at around £7000 for a full rewire of an expensive sports car. Prevention is a must. Visit Hammer Technologies website to find out more about how you can save yourself a huge sum of money.

How To Rid Your Factory Of Rats

How To Rid Your Factory Of Rats
How To Rid Your Factory Of Rats
The common rat causes a massive amount of damage to human's property every year. They nibble on the wires of expensive cars, engines, lathes, assembly line robots and military hardware. This leads to thousands of hours of equipment downtime and potentially serious consequences. It can be impossible to rat proof a building which is large.  This is because the number of holes of 2cm and larger, the size an adult rat can fit through, could run to many hundreds, if not thousands.

So what to do? You could get a cat but only one rat has to slip through the proverbial net for significant damage to ensue. Hammer Technologies have come up with an amazing new solution; rat repellent flooring. Details on how it works are being held close to their chest but it certainly looks promising on their website.

A significant scientific paper from 2009 showed that rats can create around nine billion dollars worth of damage every year. Surprisingly this is only in North America. The worldwide figure in 2015 will be far higher than this due to inflation and other factors.

Visit the Hammer Technologies website and find out more about how to protect yourself from this problem for years to come.

How Much Damage Can A Rat Do In A Day?

How Much Damage Can A Rat Do In A Day?
How Much Damage Can A Rat Do In A Day?
Rats are well known for chewing and destroying upholstery, wires, pipes and tubing, damaging them beyond repair.  In domestic situations they can cause problems by making holes in food storage containers. They also contaminating them with urine, droppings and saliva.  Rats are known vectors for up to 35 different diseases.

Because the common rat's teeth grow at a rate of between four and a half and five and a half inches per year they need to constantly be working to wear them down.  This is what leads them to cause so much damage to property.  A single rat rat could cause tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage to an expensive piece of military hardware. This can put it out of action for as long as it takes to get spares and repair it.  This could cost lives.

On a more mundane level, Hammer Technologies have performed some consumer research. It demonstrates the average cost of rat damage to a car to be in the region of £400.  The upper end of the costs were in the region of £7500.  If the damage requires a whole-car rewire of an expensive car like a Porsche or Mercedes this could easily be six to eight thousand pounds.  It is well worth investing in a decent rat repellent device to maximise the uptime of your kit.

The AutoMat Effectively Repels Rats, Mice and Other Rodents From Your Car

The AutoMat Effectively Repels Rats, Mice and Other Rodents From Your Car
The AutoMat Effectively Repels Rats, Mice and Other Rodents From Your Car
The AutoMat from Hammer Technologies is a completely new type of rat repellent.  It repels the rodents from chewing the wires in your car or van. It protects your property, your time and your money.  Simple to use; you place it on the floor of your garage and park your car.  Rats are prevented from walking under the engine. This is where they usually access the interior of the car.  The mat will train them to keep away without causing any permanent harm, taking away the need for traps and poisons.

A high quality paper demonstrated that rat damage came to nine billion dollars a year in North America alone.  This astonishing figure is particularly interesting when you take the following into account. This is despite all the trapping, repellents and deterrents which humans already use.  The requirement for a completely new type of deterrent is clear.  No new technologies have emerged in recent years, until Hammer Tech came along with their rat-proof flooring.  It is amazingly effective, requires little upkeep and creates a clear barrier which rats can't cross but humans and vehicles can. The flooring is an amazing solution to an age-old problem which people have been battling for many years without winning.  Maybe the tide is about to turn...

Top Tips For Keeping Rats Away From Your House

Top Tips For Keeping Rats Away From Your House
Top Tips For Keeping Rats Away From Your House
Rats are famously robust and difficult to get rid of once they move in.  A study has shown that rats do $9b worth of damage every year in the US.  This is despite all the trapping, repellent and poisoning methods known to humans.  Here are a few top tips to help you get rid of them.
  • Food.  Don't leave dog or cat food out in the back yard overnight as this can entice rodents.  Don't leave food scraps lying around after meals, don't leave food on the floor or in the bottom of the larder as it will attract them to the area.  Put rubbish out in solid bins with well-fitting lids, definitely not in flimsy bags or cardboard containers.  Clean up spilt rubbish as soon as possible.
  • Water.  Old paint tins and buckets behind the garage can keep the rats going; scoffing your stuff is thirsty work.
  • Rat-deterrent flooring.  Equip yourself with some rat-deterrent flooring to keep them at bay. It creates a safe zone around your stuff, keeping it safe from their sharp little incisors.
Warmth.  Check under floorboards and in cavity walls for signs of nests; they like hidden warm areas to start a family.  Human dwellings offer warmth and dryness which is hard to come by in the wild, making them very tempting places to live.

Keep Rats Away From Valuable Property

Keep Rats Away From Valuable Property
Keep Rats Away From Valuable Property
Every years rats do $9b worth of damage to property in the US alone.  This is despite all the trapping, poisoning and repellents known to humankind. Their little teeth grow all throughout their lives. They have a constant rate of around 5 inches a year they work hard to wear them down by chewing on wiring, pipework and other hard substances.  This can cause thousands of pounds worth of damage to an expensive piece of kit.

You can go some way to preventing the problem with some simple DIY.  Fill holes in walls where they can get in but bear in mind that they can fit through a hole the size of a dime.  Fill holes with something rats can't chew through like cement, concrete or steel sheet.  Fix dripping taps so they have no source of drinking water. Make your larders and rubbish storage areas rat proof by checking doors fit. Get an automatic closing mechanism like a spring closure.  Look out though because rats are smart and will follow you in when you open the door.

These simple measures only go so far and can be difficult to implement in large industrial and commercial units.  Hammer Technologies have come up with a great solution. This is in the form of electrified anti-rat flooring. This effectively creates a rodent-free perimeter around your expensive kit.

How To Keep Rats Out

How To Keep Rats Out
How To Keep Rats Out
Rats are scavengers and follow humans, metaphorically and literally eating crumbs from their tables.

Rats are expert at getting into buildings. An adult can squeeze through a gap of only 2cm, making it very difficult to rat proof a building by blocking up the holes. However, this is a starting point of keeping rats out of your house, garage, lock-up or warehouse.

Block holes with concrete, cement and sheet metal to keep them out.  Rat's teeth grow at a rate of 5 inches a year so they need to constantly gnaw on hard materials such as wood and wire to keep their length down. They can't chew through cement and sheet metal.

You can spot their rat runs by finding droppings and oily marks from their fur on walls and around openings.  These are the sites to target.

Dry up all water sources, stop dripping taps and remove puddles to make rats not want to hang around.  Keep food in secure containers with lids, rubbish in bins with close fitting lids and don't leave food scraps lying around.

Often people find these simple measures simply aren't enough to keep rats at bay.  Thankfully Hammer Technologies have come up with a new rat repellent flooring to protect your property.

Welcome To Rat Repellent Reviews

Welcome To Rat Repellent Reviews
Welcome To Rat Repellent Reviews
Welcome to the new blog.  Rat Repellent Reviews will give you reviews on rat repellents, rodent deterrents and other methods of pest control.  There are many products out there, most of which have no evidence of effectiveness. We are hoping to give you helpful information to help you choose the right product for your needs.

Anecdotally people find ultrasound emitting devices effective against repelling all sorts of rodents. There is no scientific evidence for them working. This means than in objective tests they are not shown to work.  Despite this fact millions of pounds are spent on them every year.  Trapping is widely used and can be effective but you've only got to miss one rat for damage to occur.  Some traps are inhumane and whether the trap captures a live rat or kills it you still need to dispose of the rat yourself.

An effective rat repellent is what you need; Hammer Technologies' new rat repellent flooring is the likely solution.  It demonstrates a robust perimeter around your treasured property, keeping it safe.

There are many different methods available, as well as so many different brands we will help you to see the wood for the trees.  We will also bring you interesting stories and information about rats.  For more facts on rats visit our Twitter Page.
